At the end of the road

At the end of Vidra road in Romania

Usually I name my posts with a straightforward expression, most of the time that being the name of a certain place shown in the panorama. So, what do I want to show you here?

Well, we are standing in the spot where the access road to Vidra lake is vanishing under the blue waters. 

If we take a good look around, we can see on the nearby hill and the line of trees, how much higher the water can rise in this man-made lake. We are safe to assume that, sometime in the future, we will not be able to reach this exact spot again.

Then again, the water level could drop, as it did in 2009, when the lake was almost dried out...
