Currently at 1815m altitude, we can see the Gropsoarele - Zaganu ridge towards the east, and the seismic sensor mounted close-by.
This pano was taken in the same area as above, closer to the refuge constructed from a seismic sensor housing.
A lot of tracks converge at this point, like the one coming from Ciucas chalet or the one going to Red Mountain chalet.
Coming from the Red Mountain chalet, this is the last climb before we reach the point known as "The Crossroads".
On the track from Red Mountain chalet towards "the Crossroads", we get a nice pano of Gropsoarele - Zaganu Ridge and Ciucas chalet.
After passing close to the peak known as "the Red Mountain" we continue the climb to "the Crossroads".

Climbing on the Red Mountain. Behind us we get a nice view of the chalet with the same name, and Cheia resort.
This is the first feature we find after starting the climb from Red Mountain chalet, It is one of several seismic sensors installed by the station bellow us.
